West Virginia PBL STATEMENT ON COVID-19 & STATE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

 

The 2020 WV PBL Leadership Conference that is schedule for March 27th and 28th at West Liberty University Highlands Center will move to an online format.

 

The safety and health of our student members, our volunteer advisers, and chaperones is our top priority.

Our decision was based on information from WV department of health as well as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and The World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, the leadership team voted 5-0 in favor of moving our conference online to reduce health risks to our members.

Refund Policy

 

Refunds will only be given to students who did not register for an event and planned to attend AND who   did not plan to take an open event test (open events will be explained in the testing guidelines).  Advisers are eligible to receive a refund or a credit for next year’s conference.  No refund will be issued until remits are received from nationals.  It is the responsibility of the chapters to inform the state adviser of a refund request.  Refunds will not automatically be issued.

As we move through the online conference please email westvirginiapbl@gmail.com.  This email is monitored by more than one person.  Therefore, you will get a faster response.  If you have any questions being an adviser or student, please call the State Adviser.  Advisers are encouraged to call the state adviser and make contact before 3/16/2020.
